North Carolina about 25 miles SE of Raleigh. WRAZ is an LMA of Capitol Broadcasting and is
co-located with WRAL and WRAL HD the first digital station on the air. This transmitter
has four MSDC klystrons in visual service working into a "switchless combiner"
and two aural transmitters into a separate "switchless combiner". Any klystron
may be turned off, serviced, and returned to air without any loss of programming. Either
half of this transmitter, (120 kW) may be turned off completely, serviced, and returned to
air without program disruption.
